Who needs the gym

I have been, for the past 30+ minutes, scrubbing, 'Enjo-ing', the kitchen. Amazing, just with cold water, and Enjo glove and cloth. And again, if aikidomayland can tell me what I threw out, I will agree we needed it.

Have one section of it left to do, the 'bar' dividing the dining area from the kitchen.

It's Monday... what did I expect

Today, I have been working photographs, and those who have visited me at my house knows where my computer is set up. Looking out at the driveway/carport so I know if anyone comes up.

I go out to the mail box at 12:22 (yes, I checked the time before I went) and opened the letterbox to find a "Unable to deliver" yellow card from Australia Express Post. The time of attempted delivery was stated ast 12:19. My front door is open, and no one came up the driveway. I called the number on it, and got the usual serving of bullshit. I will scrap my plans for tomorrow, and hang around here waiting. :-/

Alan came home from TAFE, and he was pissed off. According to the driveer, it seems that his student concession card, the one that gets (or should I say USED to get) him a lower bus fare is no longer 'good enough'. Since when? He used it Friday without a problem. If there was a policy change, would have been nice to have known. Will be calling TransPerth about this.

ETA: I called them. Seems that they have changed their methods. You MUST have a smart rider card now. Would have been nice to know back in JANUARY! (grrr)

Today at archery

I brought my Lumix, with an assortment of FX filters. Or as one of the people there said "What people used to use before PhotoShop". I was experimenting with them. They are a lot of fun, and create some interesting photographs.

This is just a 'quick and dirty' use of the rainbow starburst filter. Would have liked to do a few more, but there was this very umm energetically chatty kid at the archery range would would just NOT stop talking. Satisfied with the result. Can't wait to do more with other subjects.

Had to happen

No longer have 50 inch long hair. 45 inches now, as I just lopped off 5 inches straight across. Needs to have it done or it's just straggly at the ends.

Someone thought I had Photoshopped Loki's pictures, grey scaled him. I sent her a bunch of other pictures of him (small ones) showing how his fur tends to reflect and 'adopt' the hues around him. When he was on a pink pillow, his fur was tinged pink.. When he was up the gum tree, his fur was tinted green and brown hues

And here he is standing next to an orange brick face wall and paving (he discovered the skinks and lizards like to sun themselves near the downspout, and hide behind it. I think he is channeling Affy):
