I have been mailing things to friends in the US for at least 9 years now. I am an old hand at addressing and getting all the right forms filled out.
I packed up, and addressed a gift for a friend. Double checked the address and it was all good. Got the customs form filled out, paid for postage, and away it went... only to be returned because some bright spark in the US who inspected the parcel slapped an inspected sticker over the damned apartment number. Chances are the parcel made it within 4 blocks of the intended recipients house before it got "Insufficient address information".
Did I blister anyone's ears?
