Some idiot is trying to tell me that art created by digital means isn't 'real', and for me to hang my original art on the wall, I would have to hang the harddrive on the wall, because anything else would be a lie.
I countered with "I guess you should be hanging sables and camels on the walls because that is what your brushes are made out of? Maybe you should go out and grind rocks and mix the tints with egg yolks too?"
His comments and rants are reminiscent of what people used to say when cameras were being used, how those portraits aren't 'real' art. What is with people that if anything new tech-wise, they have to circle the wagons and denigrate it?
