Another company shot themselves in the foot

I know this happened last year, but I have had a lot going on, so just kep letting is slide.

I used to use HULU, the free version. I had no problem watching the ads or the ad breaks.  But it seems that they have changed how they do things.  They got rid of the free version, and are subscription only. If I am going to subscribe to a streaming video feed, I don't care HOW they charge $4 less a month, I will NOT pay to watch advertisements.

It's really a shame, too, as I did enjoy their content. Oh well.

Continuity Annoyance

I guess it's become an overused formula, but this "48 hours earlier" or whatever time-stamp earlier on episodic TV shows is really annoying.

What I learned last night

I was in bed reading ebook on my tablet. I checked email and followed a link to a video of a cat talking to his human.

I found out video of kitteh 'talking' to his human on my android tablet sets off both Ziggy and Loki.. to the point of growling, prowling and raised hackles. And leaves Ziggy looming like a gargoyle on top of my wardrobe, and Loki's neck stretching out like E.T.s
