War, INC

John Cussack plays in a dark comedy, but this time about Commercial War machine.  And outsourcing for private armies.

War torn "Turaqistan" has Tamerlane Corporation (insert Haliburton) there to help rebuild the country in to a democracy after the same corporation helped bomb the country back into the stone age. You see US corporation signs hung on walls everywhere, US businesses, and even the tanks have sponsor signs on them.  Even a "Turaqi" pop star, while in the public eye appears just as vapid as US variety.

And then there are hair splitting gems like this one:

"Since when are there attacks inside Emerald City?"

"Technically that wasn't an attack. That was a bombing"

and the "Don't forget your gift bags. They have a coffee mug, a dessert umbrella, a beer-cuzzi. And an autographed copy, from you know who, of "How I Conquered The World And Worked Out Issues With My Dad"

Do I think this parallels what is currently happening/going to happen in Iraq? Minus the comedy, yes. Corporate greed, special interest groups, and the leeches that are there to get a piece of the action.
