I despise it. And because of that, I sent an email off to SanDisk about one of their products; the Sansa View. It's a wonderful MP3/WMV/MP4 player, easy controls, great sound, and clear bright screen.

It's fatal flaw is this: not learning from the mistake of the earlier iPods, it doesn't have a replaceable battery. So when the battery no longer holds a charge, it's to be chucked into the trash. This kind of thinking, this deliberate making of disposable tech, is why landfills are chock full, and why people have the 'toss it' mentality. I told them that the earlier version of this unit, which I have managed to secure, although it has a smaller screen, has the same storage capacity, same clear screen, but is equipped with a replaceable battery, and that maybe they should rethink their throwaway mentality.

A Public Holiday means

Aikidomayland trimmed the bottle brush and Geraldton Wax tress, and when he get out of sight, I snuck out there and started hauling them to the 'pick up' area. After 8 arm loads I figured I had enough. He was most appreciative.

Then, we finally moved three of 'century plants'. Cut them from the main stock, and transplanted them to the front of the house between the roses, to fill it out, and to discourage anyone from getting too close to the windows. Between thorns, and stiff blades of the plants, it will do the job.

I agree with part of what he said: "We conservatives have not done a good enough job". Had he stopped there, he would at least have been partially honest in his statements.

This part of his statement is true. For the last 8 years, conservative misrule, deregulation, cooking the books by not including the billions upon billions spent on Bush's Iraq disaster, has landed the US in an economic recession, which has spread world wide.

As for his claim that President Obama is 'inspiring fear to push a liberal agenda', I have two statements.

Where was he when the Bush administration was using fear, xenophobia, and terror to get their way?

And: bullshit. Appears that the majority who answered the poll feel the same.

Got up too early, woken up by Ziggy yowling. Aikidomayland nudged me and said "Your turn?"

*I replied "Uh uh.. you wanted her..."

So, up good and early, got ready.... only to be left waiting for Aikidomayland to get ready. We weren't late. Got there with 1 minute to spare.

We worked on one set of moves that concentrated on the arms, over and over again until everyone got it. Shoulders are a bit achey, and legs are sore from one of the deep knee bend moves, also over and over.
