have been going through the photos taken at Natcon50/SwanCon 2011. Working my way through the award photos now. Blurry, out, flash back from something in the way of the subject, out. I have no problem if photo is a wee bit too dark, because that can be fixed. Over exposed, out.

Also have the Rebel Alliance workshop photos, and the Sword fighting workshop, and some more con-guest/goers photos to work through. Smartest thing I have been doing is 'rating' the photos. 5 star are the ones I have worked on, 4 stars to be worked on, 3 star to be considered. The rest, delete.

On an aside: it's been 4 days since the con, and I am still beat to shit. Actually fell asleep this afternoon for about an hour.

30ish minutes ago

I got to watch Lawrence O'Donnel slam the "Birther Queen" Orly Taitz.

Pres Obama applied to Hawaii for a waiver (took some time for it to work its way through the legal system) so he could get a scanned copy of his "long form birth certificate" in a vain attempt to appease the Birthers. (Appease-eotomy?) Lawrence O'Donnel invited Orly Taitz to his show, to see if she would apologize for her lying/accusing President Obama of not being a natural born US citizen.

What does this daffy bitch do? Pulls out some document she claims shows disproves his birth certificate (supposedly a selective service document which has no legal standing whatsoever) and when LO asked her "Will you answer, yes or no: does the disclosure of the long form birth certificate prove once and for all that Pres Obama was born in Hawaii?"

She would not answer, she kept flogging her same dead horse bullshit. Lawrence had her mic and camera shut after asking her to just answer yes or no several times. Me, I would have shut her down the nanosecond she tried to resurrect her insanity. But he gave her lots of chances, but she preferred to keep up with her lunacy.

Orly, go home. Go back to being a dentist. You are a crappy conspiracy nut, and a worse 'lawyer'. The only ones who will believe you are the racist conspiracy nuts, or those who have had a lobotomy (whether by accident or drug/alcohol abuse)

1st batch of Swancon 2011 Masquerade photos. Feel free to identify yourself or others!

About 90% done with Masquerade Photos

And after uploading them, I will put a link to them. Reason is I can't remember everyone's name! (I blame it on age, levels of exhaustion, and only seeing many of the subjects once a year!)

Photos with children in them are only going be uploaded if they are accompanied by an adult (ie parent or guardian) unless I am given express permission. There was a youngster in a costume that had an extra eye on the forehead. If this rings a bell, please pass it along, because I would like to put the photo up, but not without parental permission.

I need a pet psychiatrist

Loki is worse than a limpet mine. I really wanted to sleep in, but his furry-godliness wouldn't let me... not until I fwapped him with a pillow. (Before you dash off to call PETA or ASPCA, no animals were injured, and that includes me!)

Everything from mid shoulders down is giving me more grief than usual, but thinking about how the con was a 5 day photo shoot, I'm not overly surprised. Got some great photographs. Still wading through them.
